Wentao Zhu is a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor at the Eastern Institute of Technology, Ningbo (EIT), and an Affiliated Assistant Professor at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) and the University of Warwick. His research focuses on developing human-aware AI systems that can perceive, understand, and interact with humans, especially collaborative embodied agents. He is a main organizer of the CVPR 2025 Humanoid Agents Workshop. Prior to joining EIT, he received his Ph.D. from Peking University.
