Qi Ye is an assistant professor at Zhejiang University. She obtained her Ph.D. from Imperial College London. After graduation, she joined the Mixed Reality & AI Lab at Microsoft Research Cambridge, UK, where she worked on 3D human body reconstruction and tracking. She participated in the research and development of the 3D hand tracker for Microsoft HoloLens 2. Her research interests lie at the intersection of computer vision, computer graphics, and robotics, including 3D hand-object interaction understanding, high-degree-of-freedom manipulation of robotic hands, active 3D scene reconstruction. She has published nearly 30 first-author and corresponding-author papers in top-tier journals and conferences in the fields of computer vision and robotics, including TPAMI, CVPR, ECCV, SIGGRAPH, RAL, and ICRA, etc.
