Yichao Yan is a tenure-track Associate Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He received his Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2019, supervised by Prof. Xiaokang Yang. He also holds an M.E. from École Centrale de Lyon and a B.E. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He was a research scientist at the Inception Institute of Artificial Intelligence (IIAI) from June 2019 to April 2021. His research interests include computer vision and machine learning, with a focus on person re-identification and image/video generation.
